With changing leaves a few winter residents put in an appearance for
the Second Saturday bird walk:
Red-breasted Nuthatch, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, and Dark-eyed
Junco. Rusty Blackbird
was another notable species.
A dozen birders enjoyed mild weather and fall color on the
trails around the Rocky River Nature Center.
