Annual Picnic June 5, 2007

Twenty-four people came out for an unseasonably cold picnic at Royalview Picnic Area. We had fun, though, in spite of the weather.

We held a bird walk and saw a
a Downy Woodpecker and heard a
Wood Thrush and Scarlet Tanager.

This year's picnic was held at Royalview Picnic Area in Mill Stream Run Reservation of the Cleveland Metroparks near North Royalton.  This is the first time we held it here, having held it at South Mastick Picnic Area in Rocky River in past years.  The area featured a reservable pavilion and great birding trails.
