Bacon Woods in Vermilion, OH

 

 

Directions:

From Route 2 take the Baumhart Road exit south to North Ridge Road. Turn right on North Ridge Road.

From the Ohio Turnpike, take Baumhart Road (Exit 7A) exit north to North Ridge Road and turn left.

Then take North Ridge Road to a "T" (about 2 miles) intersection. Turn right at this intersection and continue down North Ridge Road past Vermilion Rd. Bear left and go down the hill. The entrance to Bacon Woods is on the right just before the camel-back bridge that crosses the Vermilion River. (see picture below)

Then drive along the outer road to the farthest parking lot. We will meet in this parking lot.(see picture below)

OR

From Route 2 take the Vermilion Rd/Sunnyside Rd exit. (This exit is one exit west of Baumhart Rd). Turn left from exit, go to dead end.

Turn right on Jerusalem Rd. Take Jerusalem to end.

Turn left on Vermilion Rd. and take to it's end.

Turn right on North Ridge Rd. and go down the hill. The entrance to Bacon Woods is on the right just before the camel-back bridge that crosses the Vermilion River. (see picture below)

Then drive along the outer road to the farthest parking lot. We will meet in this parking lot.(see picture below)
