Hilliard Blvd. Bridge Field Trip June 24, 2007

Report Photos

We had a GREAT trip today.  The peregrines at Hilliard Road were nowhere to be seen, so we traveled to the parking lot of Sokolowski’s University Inn by the downtown I-90 bridge.

Chris and Chad Saladin gave us a wonderful peregrine tour featuring Newt (female from Wisconsin) and a male and their three female offspring.

We spotted them on the bridges and gravel piles, and then went down into the flats by the gravel piles for a better look. They flew around and posed for us, so we had a great look. The little ones have been flying for about a week now, but they still rely on the parents for food.
