We may have bailed out early but we were rewarded.
Just after exiting the park, I said, "Larry stop, go back, I saw
an owl!" And there he was sitting in a tree at the right edge of
the road in all his barred owl glory. We watched for a few
minutes, then he majestically flew off into the woods.
