Whipps Ledges and Hinckley Reservation field trip July 14, 2007
Species
Photos
The day started out cool but a Junco was
singing from the top of an evergreen tree. Fourteen people joined in the
fun as we trudged up and down Whipps Ledges. We were treated to several
sightings of male and female Hooded Warblers.
After an exhirating hike through the Ledges lead by Gabe Leidy and Terri
Martincic, we drove to the Johnson's Picnic Area where we found two
Yellow-billed Cuckoos in the parking lot. Our species list picked up
